Biographic Sketch: Jayne Azzarello joined the Disterhoft Group with an ongoing interest in the neurobiological basis of memory and learning, particularly in relation to memory loss in aging. She also has an ongoing interest and working background in the visual arts, having received her MA in Biomedical Illustration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In her role as biomedical illustrator, she has been involved in a diverse array of projects, including the American Medical Association's Complete Medical Encyclopedia, and the Discovery International CD-ROM encyclopedia of animals “The Animal Planet”.
