Good-bye Sean.

Posted on November 8, 2011 by pwpadmin.

Our wonderful technician Sean Farley left us in August for the green, green hills of Iowa City and the University of Iowa where he has joined John Freeman’s laboratory in the Department of Psychology.

Sean joined the Disterhoft lab in November 2009.  His main job was to conduct mouse behavioral phenotyping experiments, using many of the techniques in the Behavioral Phenotyping Core.

He also assisted with in vivo recording experiments, especially helping Rebekah Ward and our collaborator Joachim Spiess.  Much of his mouse behavioral phenotyping work was ancillary to Bridget Mckay’s thesis project. Sean’s wonderful sense of humor and his up-beat personality are missed as much as his hard work.
